The New York office of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp (MS&K) today announced that five of its partners from four areas of practice have been selected for the 2009 New York Super Lawyers list. They are:

* Christine Lepera, Entertainment & Sports
* Paul V. LiCalsi, Intellectual Property Litigation
* Paul D. Montclare, Business Litigation
* Jane G. Stevens, Business Litigation
* Lauren J. Wachtler, General Litigation

Super Lawyers is a listing of outstanding attorneys who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Polling, research and selection are performed by Law & Politics, a publication of Key Professional Media, Inc., and only five percent of New York metro attorneys have been named to the Super Lawyers list. Law & Politics has been publishing legal magazines since 1990 and Super Lawyers since 1991.

"Our attorneys are focused on doing the best possible job for clients, but it's very gratifying when their work is recognized by a third-party research organization," said MS&K Managing Partner Thomas Lambert. "We congratulate them for their richly deserved honors."

The New York office of the Los Angeles-based law firm opened in March 2008 and has since grown to nine lawyers focused on intellectual property, business litigation, entertainment law and real estate.
